Dear Friends,

Do you ever find yourself spending too much time dwelling on the past or worrying about the future? Many of us do, and it is completely normal to do so from time to time. However, whenever we get too caught up with looking backward or forward, we often miss what’s right in front of us. And let’s face it, all we really have is right here and right now. So why not seize the day!

Have a great August!

Love and appreciation,
Gary

ONE-MINUTE WISDOM

If there are perceived walls in your life, this moment is the opportunity to prepare yourself for whatever maybe on the other side. Your decision to become spiritually prepared provides you with everything you need under any circumstances.

RELEASING AND OVERCOMING WORRY

Release is to remove restrictions or obligations from someone or something so that they become available for other activity. The very idea of release shows that one is not available. In this case the idea is worry. Worry is defined as to allow oneʼs mind to dwell on difficulty or trouble.

It is clear that occupying the mind on fear and worry means that the mind is not available to focus on more productive things. Only through the release of negative energy and thoughts can one really then have the space to create what is truly wanted.

Releasing negative thoughts and disappointments removes mental blocks and barriers. Worry is simply a sign that there are things that one must work on releasing. This simple truth is that all of the energy used to worry can be switched to create the results that you truly desire.

DAILY EXERCISE
Releasing and Overcoming Worry

Start by recognizing that worry is simply not the best way to use your mental and emotional energy. Secondly, write down the top five things that worry you. Then sit in a meditative state releasing these worries. After this has been done rewrite every worry into a positive statement. For example a worry about finding love can be stated as “I now have the love I deserve.” Use this for all your worries. Begin to focus only on the positive side of the worry. This will also help release mental energy and direct it in a much more positive direction.
