Dear Friends,

This month is a new beginning for you. Life is never stuck or stale because each moment is always new and fresh. Setting new goals, clarifying intentions, and
visioning are positive rituals that create new success. May this February find you celebrating love, success, and happiness within yourself and all others.

With love, there is nothing that can’t be accomplished. Love is one of the most beautiful emotions of the human experience but it still remains a mystery.

Despite this truth, one knows when they are experiencing true love and unconditional love.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Love and appreciation,

All ideas and words are blueprints for something new in our lives. Fill your mind with only positive thoughts, and become a master of your own divine radiant expression.

It is important to be clear that love is much more than feelings of affection. Begin each day and interact with loved ones from the viewpoint of unconditional acceptance. Make a daily decision to offer them love and to create a space of calmness rooted in love with them.  Take steps every day to express both affection and respect for your loved ones knowing that both lead to peace and calmness.

There's never a wrong occasion to make a batch of chocolate chip cookies. It's been rainy around here lately and this was the perfect antidote! Be sure and invite friends over to share with you because it's hard to stop at just one!

prep: 20 mins
cook: 12 mins
total: 32 mins
Servings: 12
Yield: 12 cookies

  2 cups gluten-free all-purpose baking flour
  ½ cup coconut sugar
  1 tablespoon baking powder
  ¾ teaspoon salt
  ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  ¼ cup maple syrup
  ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
  3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  ½ cup gluten-free chocolate chips
  ½ cup gluten-free rolled oats
  ¼ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon together in a large bowl

Whisk maple syrup, applesauce, coconut oil, and vanilla extract together in a bowl. Add to the flour mixture; stir until dough is well combined. Fold in chocolate chips, oats, and nuts; mix to incorporate.

Scoop a scant 1/4 cup of dough for each cookie; shape into a ball and place on a baking sheet. Gently press to flatten

Bake in the preheated oven until set and lightly browned, about 12 minutes.

Today, I am the only person who has control over my habits.

Today, I fill each day with joy, love, and laughter.

Today, I am here to love and be loved.

You must risk and go for love and responsibility. Let’s cleanse ourselves as if taking a shower, and rid ourselves of the need to use self-pity in any area of our lives. The truth is we were are able and loving right now. What you want is yours right now. The choice is always yours.

1. Observe the ways you use self-pity to control yourself and others. Tell others of your ways so they will help you let go of self-pity as a way to take care of yourself.

2. What is your "poor me" act telling you about what you aren’t giving yourself? How are you not being good to yourself and giving yourself what you need and want? Give yourself whatever that is!

3. Observe how you feel around those who use self-pity and “poor me". Notice that others feel this way when you are into it. Release and let it go now.

Many sleep-supported formulations are based on foods. For example, casein decapeptides are the protein components that give warm milk it’s soothing properties. Herbs can encourage sounder sleep, too. In addition to such standard bedtime favorites as chamomile and hops, Mucuna prurient (velvet bean) fights insomnia and helps to deepen sleep overall while an African shrub called Griffonia simplicifolia provides, an  amino acid the body uses to create serotonin. Sweet dreams!
