Dear Friends,
We live in interesting times with unique challenges. These times call for powerful changes. Since our lives are always unfolding, it sometimes may appear as though some of us are currently getting clarity or spinning in circles. There’s a lot of distractions out there, but you don’t have to listen. Change the channel and tune into the voice that's speaking to you within. As one observes new signs of life again, it is easy to sense the energy that propels life forward and manifests through all creation. Believe that we are on the edge of a profound transformation in human consciousness.
Step beyond your comfort zone. Have faith. Follow the call and see where it leads. There is only one life. This is your greatest life!
Love and appreciation,
Gary

POSITIVE THOUGHTS AND AFFIRMATIONS
You may have heard of the concept, think success, be a success, or act like you already have what you desire. If you donʼt already know why this is such an important part of your spiritual growth, let us begin to break it down for you. If you do already know, keep reading because we promise youʼll learn something you did not know. ) Many people, even those who believe in daily spiritual practice, canʼt quite get behind a regular routine of saying positive affirmations. It can feel useless or abstract or silly at first. Here is why itʼs essential. If you want to be successful at anything, it starts with the thought and the belief that you can. We donʼt care if itʼs a huge goal such as starting a new business or a smaller goal like passing a test. Whatever it is for you, you have to believe you can in order to achieve it. We often are asked a question like this: But what about this person? They did not even try or believe they could and they got it. Why did it come to them? Our answer to that is that they attracted exactly what they wanted on some level. They thought it into reality. If one does not believe they are worthy, that lesson will still show up in their life.

APPLE HAZELNUT MUFFINS
VEGAN & GLUTEN FREE
These are the perfect spicy and slightly sweet snacks perfect for those with dairy, egg, and gluten intolerance… as well as those who love them! These muffins don’t really “puff” in the oven, so you can be fairly confident in filling the tins all the way to the top. And don’t underbake them.
INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsp ground flaxseed
1/4 cup hot water
1/4 cup millet flour
1/4 cup sorghum flour
1/2 cup rice flour
1/4 cup potato starch (NOT potato flour)
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp guar gum
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ginger
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup canola oil
1 tsp pure vanilla extract (make sure it's GF)
1 tsp rice vinegar
1/4 cup almond milk
1 apple, with peel, coarsely grated
3/4 cup whole hazelnuts, toasted and chopped finely (not ground, though)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350F, line 12 muffin cups with paper cups.
2. In a small bowl, mix together flaxseed and hot water. Let stand for 10 minutes.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk together flours, starches, baking powder, baking soda, guar gum, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Set aside.
4. In a large bowl beat together brown sugar, oil, vanilla, and rice vinegar. Add flaxseed mixture and blend in well.
5. Add the dry mixture and stir in gently, then add the almond milk and stir just to combine all the ingredients.
6. Fold in shredded apple and hazelnuts.
7. Portion into the prepared muffin cups.
8. Bake 35 minutes, until they test done.
9. Remove from the pans immediately and cool on wire racks.
