Dear Friends,

When we are low in confidence our energy becomes depressed and we find it hard to communicate with other people and appreciate anything about our lives.

Sometimes we can break this cycle by changing something very simple - like a facial expression. A smile can break a negative cycle.

Notice how you feel so much better when you are smiling and laughing. Laughing stimulates the production of our natural feel-good chemicals.

This month just smile, you will feel great and so will everyone around you.

Love and appreciation,

Belief is the most powerful magic of all.

We know how to satisfy our material desires by going out into the world and experiencing things, feeling things, and doing things. However, if we live our lives only at the material level we will eventually feel disenchanted. All the possessions, friends, and abilities in the world do not compensate for the lack of spiritual connection. Don’t forget that you are mind, body, and spirit and that spiritual nourishment reaches the parts that nothing else can reach. Get in touch with your spirit and calm your mind and body.

Make sleep a top priority
Living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t only mean committing to regular exercise and an eating balanced diet. We spend one-third of our lives sleeping – or we’re supposed to, anyway – so take a closer look at that part of your schedule. Are you getting enough sleep, and staying asleep throughout the night? Make the necessary changes to pursue healthier sleep habits, boost your energy and keep hormones functioning correctly.

Make exercise do double duty
Exercise shouldn’t feel like a grueling chore that you tolerate for the sake of your health. Choose activities that are also fun, and you’ll discover that fitting them into your schedule becomes easier. For many people, that means their workout routine does double duty as a social activity. Sign up for fun classes, make hiking dates with friends, or commit to a fitness challenge with your co-workers.

Pay attention to your “food feelings”
Many people don’t pay attention to this until they remind themselves, and they’re surprised at the results. Some foods might make you feel sluggish or slightly sick after meals, while others give you a boost of energy or positive feelings. Make a habit of noticing your reactions to different foods, and you might find this motivating to continue a healthy eating plan.

Combine nutrients for best results
When meals and snacks consist of protein, complex carbs, and a few healthy fats, you will find that your energy levels stay more even and you experience fewer cravings. This can help you stick to a more regular schedule.

Today, I am worthy of my own love, admiration, and undivided attention.

Today, I love abundance and attract it naturally.

Today, I am enough.

Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 1 min
Total Time: 11 mins
Yield: 2 Apple Cobblers

For the Cobbler:
  • 1/4 c. almonds
  • 1/4 c. macadamia nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 2 dates, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 Tbsp. coconut oil, melted
  • splash of vanilla extract
For Apples:
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • Juice of 1 lemon (approx. 1/4 c.)
  • 3 Tbsp. agave nectar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg
  1. Pulse nuts and spices together until chunky. Remove and place into a medium bowl. Place dates, water, coconut oil, and vanilla into the blender and mix until smooth. Add into nut mix in the bowl until fully combined.
  2. Allow the apple to soak for a few minutes in a bath of lemon juice, agave, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Microwave apples in juice in a safe bowl for 45 seconds. In an individual dish, place a layer of the nut mixture on the bottom. Top with layers of the apple slices. Top with the remainder of the nut mixture. If you want it warmer, place it in microwave for another 30 seconds.

Never give up on your original ideas; see them through to completion.

A calm mind is a priceless reward
