Dear Friends,

If we truly want our lives to be different, we must give up our stories. I can’t assure you of everything you want or need at this moment. I can’t calm all of your fears. As long as we keep watering those experiences, we will give life to the pain they have created. I believe that if you are stuck in your past story, it keeps you from seeing the self-destructive patterns and habits that you’re engaged in in the present. Today we can decide to live fully in gratitude, begin with using the words thank you. You can bask in the love and celebration of the people who bring joy to your hearts, with just a thought of them.

Love and appreciation,

When you find you’ve gone down the wrong path or made a choice that wasn’t the best one you could have made, forgive yourself.
You can promise to do better in the future.

As the Beatles sang, ‘All you need is love’ . . . Love is the very core of life and without it our lives have little meaning. From the very moment of our birth, love guides us, nurtures us and helps us to grow. It ensures our meaningful interaction with others. It fascinates and engages our understanding and compassion. Enriching our relationships with parents, children, friends, the natural world and even our pets, love is all-encompassing. It guides us through life and eases our death.

As long as we continue to love, we can never be separated from anyone. If you are going to wish upon a star, make that star the Star of Love.
