Nejifi Ramirez, born on April 11, 1984, in The Netherlands, is a Dutch television presenter and journalist. She is of Ecuadorian and Chilean descent, with her mother hailing from Guayaquil, Ecuador, and her father from Santiago, Chile. Growing up, she was fluent in Spanish, which she sees as an advantage in her career.

She studied Journalism at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in Zwolle and later pursued a minor in Communication & Film Science in Salamanca, Spain. She began her career in journalism at the commercial broadcasters SBS and RTL. Her presenting journey started at the public local broadcaster AT5, followed by a role at NOS Journaal, the biggest national news channel of the country. Currently, she is a presenter and program maker at the public broadcaster WNL.

Nejifi currently presents a TV-program called Stand van Nederland. Here she investigates socio-economic themes that concern her generation. In addition she presents a TV-program focusing on Dutch sustainable innovations.This initiative aligns with the Netherlands’ reputation for pioneering sustainable solutions in areas such as water management, renewable energy, agriculture and recycling. Her expertise focuses on the economy, entrepreneurs, society and culture.

A difficult moment in her career recently occurred when WNL told her that they were going to change the live morning program “Goedemorgen Nederland”. She was not chosen to present the renewed version of the program. This was hard for her because six months earlier she had left her job at the largest news channel in the Netherlands to do the morning show.

Nejifi has a profound passion for dancing, especially salsa dancing. Her enthusiasm for salsa dancing reflects her vibrant personality and dedication to the art form. She sees it as a holistic workout for both the body and brain. It keeps her fit, energized, and mentally sharp but at the same time relaxed. Salsa is a partnerdance which offers a sense of community. It offers her joy of social interaction and creative expression.

Nejifi is currently single and has no kids. She lives in Amsterdam with two cats, her family all live close. Her bond with her family is very close. She and her sisters meet at least twice a week. Her parents’ house is always open for them, it’s cozy with lots of latin music and food.
