Shout Out LA – Meet Gary Quinn

Meet Gary Quinn | International Life Coach Strategist and Bestselling Author

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gary Quinn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gary, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?

Many people define success by their career, wealth, or material possessions, but I view success as a measure of someone’s personal growth. A successful person is someone who is motivated and focused every day, as well as confident and fulfilled. A person with a successful mindset wakes up in the morning and says, “I will make the most out of today, and I won’t waste time on negative thoughts.” At night they go to bed and reflect on the day, making sure that they utilized their time and maximized their happiness. If something during the day didn’t go the way they planned, then they learn from their mistakes rather than getting discouraged. An important aspect of being successful is going through this cycle of motivation and contemplation every single day. This is not a routine you follow in order to become successful, because in reality anyone who’s doing this already is successful.

It takes great personal growth, confidence, and dedication to get to the point in life where you consider your time and energy valuable. By constantly strengthening your willpower and training your capabilities, you will be able to transform yourself and achieve happiness from within. It’s impossible for your connections, your job, and your possessions to be an accurate measure of your success, because if you are dedicated to a successful lifestyle and mindset then you will attract all the right people, opportunities, and wealth that match your energy. It all comes down to the frequency that you emanate throughout your life. Life is just one giant mirror, and you attract what you put out. When you internalize and exude successful energy, then you’ll be a magnet for abundance, love, and all the good things in life.
The biggest reason dreams don’t come true is that we get overwhelmed or discouraged, and then we give up too soon. The key to overcoming this is to break down the journey of success into small steps. See yourself taking one step at a time, with each step inspiring and energizing you to take the next step, and the next, all the way to your destination. Your dream may even change and morph into something different (something even better!) than you first imagined. Stay open-minded and steadfast in your determination, and you will achieve your goal.

When you make a choice that is backed by all of the will, purpose, and intent in the universe, then there are no limits to what you can achieve. Everyone has the potential to create a great life for themselves. If you’re having trouble getting started, there are some simple steps you can take to build a strong self-esteem and become successful in your personal growth. Start by making a plan and motivating yourself every day. Focusing on YOU is the most important part of manifesting success. Pay close attention to your thoughts and actions on a daily basis. Don’t hesitate when opportunity presents itself, and keep in mind that your thoughts and words have energy that creates results. Finally, always think and say YES to life. The challenges that lie ahead of you are really just opportunities, so you just say YES to even the most daunting obstacles. The more you speak it, think it, and believe it, the more confidence and success you will materialize. Each of us has the freedom to live as we choose. When we make a choice it is backed by all of the will, purpose, and the laws in the universe. Since there are no limits to this universal law, there are no limits to our lives. We all have the potential to create a great life for ourselves, but it’s essential to say YES to the challenge.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Professional life and career….

I am an international motivational speaker, a life coach, a strategist, and a best-selling author. I write books for people who seek to improve their personal lives, succeed in business, and find balance. I founded my Touchstone for Life Coaching Program® in order to guide individuals towards building a foundation of success through life-changing insights, self-awareness, and personal growth.

I hold a large variety of seminars, workshops, keynotes and private coaching sessions in order to give my clients a clear blueprint for their lives, and a positive attitude for manifestation. Nowadays almost everything is done online, but I love to travel and I’ve held seminars in the USA, Japan, Italy, England, Switzerland, Germany, Canada, Ireland, Mexico, Costa Rica, Romania, and Australia.

I believe it’s important to extend self-help all over the world, so I often publish my books in other countries and languages. The point of my books is to offer readers simple yet effective methods to transform their lives, and begin manifesting whatever they desire. This involves replacing old detrimental habits, taking positive action, and searching for what they’re truly passionate about.

I’ve just completed my brand new business book, “Be Your Own Business Guru: A Balanced Path to Well-Being, Success, and Happiness”, and it will be published next year. The book focuses on how to grow and improve as individuals so that we manifest more success in our professional lives. I wanted to give readers a personal guidebook dedicated to helping them restore balance to their lives by learning how to enhance their energy and bring their most complete and authentic self to the workplace. My practical guide to spiritual recovery is brimming with wisdom and insight that will allow readers to discard unhelpful thought patterns and create a brand new mindset that will lead them to a bright new future. I provide readers with methods to overcome business obstacles, and inspire them to make crucial changes that will bring balance into their lives. This book is all about how to finally have a breakthrough in life and business.

I’ve also been filming and recording new episodes of “Ready Set Live”, which is my personal development, lifestyle, health, and wellness podcast. Ready Set Live is now visually aired on Antenna Television Network WCRA Boston, Mass., UBNgo Network, YouTube, and Facebook Live, AppleTV+, and can be heard on iTunes, iHeart, Spotify, Soundcloud, Pandora, Vurbl, and Amazon Music. The show focuses on common issues that all of us face in today’s chaotic and toxic world. I want viewers to walk away from each episode with simple and practical strategies to improve their lives and relationships. Each episode features celebrities and expert guests in personal development, health, fitness, and lifestyle. It is an entertaining, inspirational, and informative show that gives people the tools to stay healthy and content in all aspects of their lives. Some of my guests have included Academy Award Nominated Actor Eric Roberts, Actor Esai Morales, Health and Wellness Activist Mariel Hemingway, New York Times Bestselling Author Gregg Braden, Singer and Songwriter Belinda Carlisle, 5 time Olympic Gold Medalist Swimmer Dara Torres, and Actress and Health and Wellness advocate Suzanne Somers.

My global coaching work has taught me that individuals all over the world are still struggling to keep their daily thoughts and actions in alignment with their business aspirations. I want to help people take the reigns of their lives and become the architects of their paths to personal and professional success. People need to be reminded to be bold and use their inner power to manifest their desires. In the modern world people are constantly stressed about their career, or what they’ve achieved, or how much money they have. I just want everyone to be able to refocus their intent and put more energy into their mental, spiritual, and physical well-being. Remember, you are not a “human doing”, you are a “human being.”

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

I would make all their Hollywood dreams come true. There’s so much to see that you could spend all your time just taking in the sights! No need for a bus tour, because I will drive them around myself and point out all the towering celebrity mansions.

Day 1 will definitely be a sightseeing trip of houses and landmarks, because that’s essential. We could drive up and down Sunset Boulevard, drive by the Chinese Theatre, and cruise through Downtown.

Day 2 would be a shopping spree! There’s wonderful malls near and far, and street shopping is even better. We would go to the Westfield in Century City, The Grove in West LA, and of course Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Hopefully they’re not totally bankrupt by

Day 3, because we’re going to go on an eating frenzy. Perhaps we’ll take a trip back to The Grove, because on top of all the amazing shops they also have an array of delicious restaurants. Then of course we’ll go to Beverly Drive, and no matter where you eat there you can’t go wrong.

Day 4 is the crux of any LA visit; a beach trip! We’ll start at the Santa Monica Pier, and after we take in the sights we’ll work our way down the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway until we reach the gorgeous shores of Malibu. I’m sure after they see Malibu they’ll never want to go home again.

Day 5 is Friday night, and it’s all about finding a good comedy show. We’ll start out at the famous Laugh Factory, and if we’re not satisfied we’ll go on the hunt for some lesser known comedy clubs full of rising star comedians.

Day 6 is Saturday, so of course it’s time for drinks. We’ll go to the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, where there’s an amazing selection of all the bars and restaurants you could ever dream of. If we don’t find what we like, then we’ll head to Sawtelle Avenue for traditional Japanese-themed food and drinks.

Day 7 is Sunday, which means it’s a day dedicated to brunch. All the best brunch restaurants are on historic Melrose Avenue, so we’ll head over there and eat until we’re about to burst. By the time my best friend leaves LA, they’ll know so many local spots that they’ll feel like they lived there for 20 years.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I acknowledge the immeasurable contribution of all the people who have supported me as a person and as an intuitive -motivational life coach.
